Band Instrument Rental and Purchasing Guidelines

The CNUSD Band Directors are committed to the success of all band students, from beginner to the most advanced high school students. The quality of the student’s instrument is critical to the student’s progress and success. The directors highly recommend the following quality instruments and accessories that will help ensure each child’s success in band.  We highly recomment renting before you buy, in case your student decides to switch instruments.  Also, be careful when purchasing over the internet, since you would not have a chance to really see what you are getting.  The companies listed here are in the Inland Empire and will be able to service your instrument if you have problems with it.

You will need to get a method book from the rental store.  I use Essential Elements.
